Welcome to Haggardstown Plants Plus. We are an established, family run business just 5 minutes drive from the centre of Dundalk. We offer relaxed, easy shopping in a quiet, rural environment.

Garden tip
Sweet or bell peppers, or chilli peppers should be coming along nicely by now, and may need potting on to the next size pot. Normally these plants branch naturally, but if stems appear weak and thin, pinch out the central growth tips. This will encourage branching lower down, and give the plant

Plant of the Week - Osteospernum
Our plant of the week this week is the beautiful 'Osteospernum'. A very useful plant for tubs, baskets etc, and also really good in rockerys, and other areas that are difficult to water (like when there is a water shortage!), as they are part succulent, and don't need watering as much as other bedding plants. If in a sheltered spot they can survive from one year to the next, and are notable because of the way the flowers open and close with the daylight!
