Welcome to Haggardstown Plants Plus. We are an established, family run business just 5 minutes drive from the centre of Dundalk. We offer relaxed, easy shopping in a quiet, rural environment.

Garden tip
If you are introducing aquatic plants to the pond, raise them on bricks. As they grow, lower them down into the water. This certainly applies to small plants, as you don’t want to submerge them.

Plant of the Week - Osteospernum
Our plant of the week this week is the beautiful 'Osteospernum'. A very useful plant for tubs, baskets etc, and also really good in rockerys, and other areas that are difficult to water (like when there is a water shortage!), as they are part succulent, and don't need watering as much as other bedding plants. If in a sheltered spot they can survive from one year to the next, and are notable because of the way the flowers open and close with the daylight!
